The short answer
There is no store app and no apk: OmeTVCam is a web app. Open it in Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android, choose Add to Home Screen, and you get an icon that launches full screen. If you searched for an ometv download, that is the closest honest thing we offer.

What "downloading" means for a chat that lives in the browser
A camera call only needs a page that can ask for camera access and a connection fast enough to carry video. That is why most random video chat now happens inside the browser, and why OmeTVCam was built that way from day one. It is a progressive web app: a website that can sit on your home screen, open without the address bar, and behave much like something from a store.
So you will not find us in the App Store or on Google Play, and we do not hand out an apk. The install step is a button in your browser's own menu. Nothing gets copied onto the phone apart from the icon and the small amount of site data every browser keeps anyway.
Plenty of people type descargar rather than download, and they are after the very same thing: a quick way to open video chat from the phone without digging for a tab every time.

Putting the icon on your home screen
Menu labels shift a little between versions, but the route stays the same on both systems.
iPhone or iPad (Safari)
- Open the site in Safari. Newer iOS versions let other browsers do this too, but Safari is the one that always has the option.
- Find Share, the icon shaped like a box with an upward arrow. On iPhone it runs along the bottom edge; on iPad it is up top.
- In the menu that slides up, scroll until you reach Add to Home Screen and tap it. Not there? The Edit Actions link at the very bottom lets you put it on the list.
- Rename it if you want, press Add, and the new icon joins the rest of your apps.
Android (Chrome)
- Open the site in Chrome.
- Open the menu behind the three dots, up in the right-hand corner.
- Tap Install app. Some Chrome versions label that same entry Add to Home screen instead.
- Confirm, then find the icon on your home screen or in the app drawer. Samsung Internet and Firefox offer a similar option in their own menus.
Worth saying twice: a page offering an apk with our name on it, or an ome tv apk that promises hidden extras, did not come from us. Apps installed from outside the official stores can get wide access to your phone, and anything to do with video chat is popular bait for that trick.

Five things to check after you tap the icon
Most first-day hiccups on a phone come down to one of these.
- The camera and microphone promptYour first call asks for both. Tap Allow. If you hit Block by accident, the switch now lives in your phone settings, and the camera troubleshooting guide shows where it is on iPhone and Android.
- Your balance and settingsOn iPhone the home screen version can keep its own session, separate from Safari. If your coins or preferences look missing, sign in once inside the icon and they reappear.
- Guest or signed inYou can start as a guest, and the site sets up a temporary identity for you. Signing in only matters if you want your balance and settings to follow you onto another device.
- How you hold the phoneEye level, not down in your lap. Front cameras are wide, and a view straight up your chin is the quickest way to get skipped.
- Wi-Fi or mobile dataCalls run fine on mobile data, but a weak signal turns into frozen frames. If video keeps stalling, try Wi-Fi before deciding something is broken.
If all five look right and something still misbehaves, restart the phone once. It clears more odd camera states than people expect.

Why a web app instead of a store listing
A fair question, so here is what you gain and what you give up by installing this way.
Updates show up by themselves
There is no update screen to sit through. When we change something, the next launch simply has it.
Almost no storage used
The icon weighs next to nothing, which helps on phones already packed with photos. Video is streamed during a call, not saved.
One sign-in for every screen
The same account opens on your phone, a tablet or a laptop browser, with the same balance waiting on each.
What you give up
No store page and no store reviews. The browser, not us, also decides details like how the icon looks and what happens when you switch to another app mid-call.
Installed. Now what?
From the icon to your first stranger
Tap the icon and you arrive at the matching screen with video, voice and text to choose from. Pick one and the first stranger loads; the next button moves you on whenever you like. New visitors get some free matches to try it out, while the Reward Center, pinned above the matches, hands out more whenever its timer runs down.

Is there an ometv apk I can download?
Not from us. OmeTVCam is a web app with no apk and no store listing. One option in the browser menu places it on your home screen, giving you an icon and a full-screen launch without installing a package.
How do I get the ome tv app on iPhone?
For OmeTVCam, load the site in Safari, press Share, then Add to Home Screen. From then on the icon launches like any app. We are an independent site, so this installs nothing from any other service.
Is the home screen version free?
It is the same site, so it is free to start in exactly the same way. New users get free matches, and the Reward Center gives more over time. Coins only come in once the free matches are used or for paid features.
Why is there no listing on the App Store or Google Play?
Because we do not publish a store app. Everything runs in the browser, and the home screen icon is the whole install.
Does it take up much space on my phone?
Very little. The icon and a small amount of site data are all that stay on the phone, since video is streamed during a call rather than stored.
Can I remove it later?
Yes. Press and hold the icon and remove it like any other app. Your account stays as it was, and the site still opens in the browser.
