OmeTVCam / VIP Membership
VIP · optional
Should you pay for VIP?
Probably not yet.
There is a VIP membership here, and some people get real value from it. Many more do not. This page sets out what it definitely includes, where to read the rest, and a frank list of who should hold off.
The short version
VIP is optional. Members get a VIP badge they can hide and member pricing on coin packs, and the complete perk list sits on the membership screen. If you have not used up your free matches, you do not need it.
What it is
A membership that sits alongside coins
VIP on OmeTVCam is a paid membership layered on top of the coin system, not a replacement for it. Things that cost coins still cost coins. What changes is how you show up to other people and what you see when you go to top up.
Two things hold for every member. A VIP badge appears next to your name, and you can hide it if you would rather not advertise it. And the coin packs in your account show member pricing in place of the standard prices.
Beyond those two, we deliberately do not publish a list here. Perks get adjusted, and the membership screen inside your account is the one place that is always current. Read it there before paying, not on a page that could fall behind.
Be honest with yourself
People who should not buy VIP
Most people on a random chat site have no use for a membership. We would rather you spend nothing than regret a purchase, so here is who ought to walk past it.
- You still have free matches leftIf the account has unused free matches, you have not seen enough of the site yet to know if you will stick around. Use them up first.
- You are here to try it onceOne evening of curiosity is covered by the free side and the Reward Center. Paying for a membership just to test the water makes very little sense.
- You drop in now and thenCasual visitors who chat occasionally and claim their rewards rarely buy enough coins for member pricing to add up to anything.
- You mostly press start and nextMember pricing matters to people who top up often. If random matching is all you do, free matches plus the odd coin top-up already do the job.
- You are hoping for a perk nobody promisedDo not buy it expecting something the membership screen does not mention. If a benefit is not written there, assume it is not included.
If any of those sounded like you, keep your money. The membership is not going anywhere, and you can come back to the question later.
Before paying

Who it can suit
Signs a membership might pay off
You already top up regularly
If buying coins is part of how you use the site, member pricing is the piece most likely to matter. Compare the two prices side by side on the coins screen and do the sum yourself.
You like being visibly VIP
Some people enjoy the badge showing to whoever they talk to. Others would rather not, which is exactly why it can be hidden.
Something on the current list matters to you
Not in theory, but for the way you personally use the site. If nothing on the membership screen jumps out, that is your answer.
Straight talk
Why a paid page tells you not to pay
We earn money when people buy coins and memberships, so it would be easy to write this as a sales pitch. It would also be short-sighted. Someone who tries the site for free, claims rewards for a while and decides they like it is far more likely to stay than someone who was talked into a membership on day one.
If you landed here from an ome tv search, keep in mind that OmeTVCam is its own independent site. A membership bought here has nothing to do with accounts or subscriptions anywhere else, and the reverse is true as well.
Already a member and something looks off — a charge you do not recognise, a badge that will not show? The help center is the place to start with billing or account questions like these.
Before you decide
VIP questions
What do you get with VIP on OmeTVCam?
A VIP badge that you can choose to hide, and member pricing on coin packs. The full, current list of perks is on the membership screen in your account, which is where to check before paying.
Is VIP worth it?
For people who top up coins often, it can be. For casual visitors, first-timers or anyone who still has free matches left, it usually is not.
Do I need VIP to use random video chat?
No. Random matching is free to start with free matches and Reward Center claims, and carries on with coins after that. VIP is entirely optional.
Can I hide my VIP badge?
Yes. Members can switch the badge off so other people do not see it.
Does VIP replace coins?
No. Coins still pay for private calls, gifts and paid live rooms. VIP changes the price you see on coin packs rather than removing the need for coins.
Is OmeTVCam VIP linked to other chat sites?
No. OmeTVCam is run independently, and a membership here has no connection to accounts or subscriptions on any other service.
